            Valerian and the city of a thousand planets is a Sci-Fi film yet also consist full of mystery because it has many modern technology.


            This firm is set in future around 28th century. The sunny day in the planet actually made the human and alien can live together peacefully. They can live in outdoor with no harm unless the space shuttles fallen and destroy the surroundings when war happened.


            Planet Mul is a peaceful place full of pearl and Mul converter – a creature that can eat planet’s natural products and excretes more of it. The princess in planet Mul take good care of her converter even sleep together. Unfortunately, war destroyed planet Mul. The survivors stay in the space shuttle and work as a group to repair it. They eat the fruits that grow in the shuttle to survive. 


The main resource in planet Mul is pearls and they work as pearl-gatherers. They can use pearls to exchange things that they want to buy. People in planet Mul can produce more pearls with the Mul converter. Their main transportation is using modern canoes. Space shuttles also one of the main transportation that can allow the people pass through the space with fast speed.


            The arrangement of power in this world is more to government. They have to follow the instruction ordered by general even released a nuclear boom although they already tell the general there are living creature in the planet Mul. Afterward, the general killed his men because he not willing to accept his consequence and also afraid his mistake know by other people.


            After the planet Mul destroyed, the survivors of the planet Mul learn a lot of knowledge including how to rebuild their planet. The ritual in planet Mul is they touch their forehead to extend greeting when meet other people. Besides, if they die with regret, their souls can be stay in kind person’s body until their desire achieved. They also sacrificed a pearl to dedicate for nature which also can bless them.  


The only ethic in the world is you follow all the rules that set by the government, and then you can stay safe and sound. All the boundaries set by government. Laurine was brought to prison because she not listens to the order and insist on looking for Valerian after he fell into red zone and lost contact. The spiritual life is unimportant in this world. The emotion of love between Laurine and Valerian, the selfish general, and righteousness of Bubble can be found in this firm.


            Creative and performing arts are very important. For example, Bubble – a shape-shifting “glampod” is working in Alpha’s pleasure district as dancer / artist. They entertain themselves by going pleasure district and Big Market. People are general content with this world because they living in a comfortable area with full of entertainment and resources.


            Architecture have value to the society and very important character in this world. It show different dimension when they go through a planet to another planet with different feelings. For example, you can feel peaceful in planet Mul and feel crowded and lively in the Big Market. The structures mostly more on curve-shaped and no material limit in this firm.
